“Does Not Belong at this Address; Please Amend Your Records”

This series, “Does Not Belong at this Address; Please Amend Your Records”, is a commentary on the position that immigrants often find themselves with the United States. Asked to pledge allegiance to a country that has no care for us. And even then, we aren’t guaranteed a place in society especially under lackluster administration such as that of the 45th President of the United States.

Two of the individuals depicted are Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, Patron Saint of Immigrants, and Saint John Baptist Scalabrini, Father of Migrants and the other two are modern day immigrants. All equalized regardless of status.

India ink, Charcoal, Acrylic, & Pen on 20”x28” Bristol paper, November 2020.
